RIVER USK
Yep, it really is shi... er, I mean brown coloured (and full of supermarket trolleys). The Romans called it the ISCA, it's fifty seven miles long and has the highest rise and fall of any river in Britain (ooh!)
It was once believed to possess 'curative powers' and there are reports (1838 & 1862) of children being 'dipped' in the river as an infallible cure against rabies.
